Digital transformation at TKP

From strategy to roadmap

Pension providers have to deal with a market that is constantly changing. The changes in the pension system and associated legislation and regulations play a major part in this. As interim CIO, Mario helped TKP with the question: “Does the current infrastructure support the implementation of the new pension system?”.

The analysis phase
ITsPeople conducted a full outside-in analysis from the IT vision and transition to support TKP with the preparation of the upcoming changes in the pension system. With an assessment on the IT landscape and technology, the strategic principles for the IT portfolio, the IT organization and integrated processes were examined.

From the analysis, various scenarios were outlined for desired and necessary adjustments to choices made in the IT landscape, organization and technology in context of the Future Pension Act, compliance requirements and technological developments. In addition to all the changes, it was key to ensure continuity.

Roadmap to the best digital pension platform
The findings from the analysis help TKP navigate the highly volatile pension market. With the strategic advice from ITsPeople, recommendations have been made for the short and middle/long term regarding the current and future digital transformation. Through the assessments, a governance framework, workshops with all relevant stakeholders and a market analysis, an IT roadmap has been created to support TKP in creating the best digital pension platform.

“As interim CIO, my focus was not only on analyzing and the solution design of the desired situation, but also on ensuring continuity within TKP IT. There is an enormous sense of solidarity within TKP. Everyone feels part of the solution that you are pragmatically working towards together. Key to continuity assurance was risk and compliance and the no-nonsense culture at TKP.”
